Due to possible rain tomorrow and our need to share the indoor facility at Yale with the Girls State Open, we will have the Quarter-finals singles matches on Monday at Yale, 3:30. Singles and Doubles Semi-finals will be played Tuesday afternoon with Amity vs Hand at 2:00, and Staples vs Guilford at 3:30. All singles will be 3:30. Note from CIAC: Welcome to the 2015 Boys’ State Tennis Tournament. We hope to play as many matches as possible on Saturday and ask for your patience as we move through the draw. We will begin with 23 opening round singles matches. These are best of three matches with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu of a third set. We will then play the first round of sigles and doubles. We will be using the tennis courts at Hall High School and also at St. Joseph College. Coaches must inform the tournament directors upon arrival if their players have any conflicts, i.e. proms, graduations, etc., that could require the moving of matches. We ask all coaches and teams to arrive at 8 so play can begin promptly at 8:30.There is a high probability at this point we will have to play on Sunday.
