WESTPORT—With a 116-6 record in six years as the Staples boys tennis coach, Kris Hrisovulos hasn’t experienced defeat too many times.

The Wreckers haven’t lost at all in the past two years.

With back-to-back undefeated seasons and consecutive FCIAC championships in the back pocket, Staples will look to extend its unbeaten match winning streak from 42 games when the season begins Tuesday against Weston.

Any boys interested in playing Varsity or JV Tennis there will be a meeting on Tuesday February 23rd at 2:20 in room 188. If you have any questions please contact coach Kris Hrisovulos at khadidas11@aol.com

Congrats to Josh Moskovitz and Max Zimmerman winning the Championship Match against the team from Daniel Hand (Madison, CT) of Andrew Pace and Daniel Weinraub 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Moskovitz and Zimmerman are the 6th doubles team in Staples Tennis history to win the State Open title. The previous Staples tandem won in 1992.
