Season opening match at home against Trinity Catholic has been postponed to Wednesday April 4th due to weather.

The Wreckers will travel to Danbury tomorrow for an away match at 3:30.

The Staples Boys Tennis team opens the season on Monday April 2nd at 3:30pm on the Staples Varsity Courts against Trinity Catholic.

The Wreckers are the defending Class LL and FCIAC Champions.

They enter the 2018 season on a 34 match winning streak (dating back to 2016).

Their will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday February 14th in Room 188 at 2:30 for all boys wanting to tryout for tennis this upcoming season.

Our finals are set for tomorrow after some very competitive semi-finals matches. We will be show-casing our Open Finalists tomorrow on Stadium Court of the Connecticut Tennis Center. At 2:00, Jake Greenwald and Jack Tooker of Staples will face Tyler Pomerance and Jordan Soifer of Westhill in a re-match of the LL semi-finals. At 4:00 our LL Champion, Evan Felcher of Staples takes on L Champion, Andrew Forchetti of Notre Dame, West Haven. Please come enjoy the great tennis. If you come early in the day, you can also catch the girls’ finals, also on Stadium Court, at 10 and 12. Congratulations to our great competitors.
